Toquima Cave // Nevada Hat Pin

Paying homage to what to me is the coolest cave in Nevada and what the pros say are the best example of pictographs in all of North America, this Nevada hat pin is part of a YouTube video series where I make Song Dog Silver pieces inspired by Nevada out in it. This pin was made at the foot of Toquima Cave, in the Toquima Mountains near Nevada’s geographic center, with coloring as vibrant as the cave’s red and yellow pictographs.

This Nevada wonderstone was mined in Nevada, and made into a cabochon by LOMM.
